You get to experience the people that matter most to you most often. You get to be around people who value you as a friend, brother, daughter, grandson, or neighbor. You don't have to live your life telling people how grateful you are for what you have. What you can do is make yourself genuinely grateful and open yourself up to others by showing gratitude. Making a list of the things that make you happy is the first step. Follow that list to its conclusion, finding something positive in every single thing you have.

You can study gratitude by setting it as a goal, establishing gratitude, measuring how it helps you feel, and observing its impact.
